New Covenant Community (NCC) is a tri-union congregation affiliated with the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
We meet in the Chapel of the
Campus Religious Center
210 W. Mulberry St., Normal, IL 61761
309.454.7362
Our purpose is to continue in our time what Jesus began in his – working for the healing of our world as an inclusive, compassionate, joyful community.
We are a More Light/Open and Affirming congregation welcoming all into full participation in the life of our community, regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation. We are also a member congregation of The Center for Progressive Christianity (TCPC), and of the Central Illinois Organizing Project (CIOP). In addition, NCC is in a collaborative/cooperative ministry partnership with the United Campus Christian Foundation (UCCF), a campus ministry at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
Our logo, which appears at the top of each page on this site, includes symbols of the three denominations of which we are a part, and of the National Council of Churches, representing our wider ecumenical community.
