New Covenant Community is not only committed to building relationships and community within our adult membership, but also with our children.  To that end we offer several opportunities for spiritual participation and growth for our younger generation.

Our Sunday School program for elementary aged children meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30am (10am in the summer).  We offer two different classes, one for 4 - 7 year olds, and another for 3rd to 8th graders, with teachers who lead on a rotating basis.  We also provide nursery care for our very young children during the service.  Or, if you prefer, you may have your children join you in worship.   We are proud to be using "A Joyful Path" Curriculum published by the Center for Progressive Christianity.

One of the great traditions at NCC is at the end of our worship service, when all of the children join us for communion and a closing song ("Go Now in Peace").  This ritual means a lot to the entire congregation.

In addition to our Sunday morning programs, we also offer regular activities for the entire NCC family as a way for our kids to get to know other adults and build community within the congregation across generations.  In the past these programs have included climbing at Upper Limits, kayaking on local lakes, garden and nature walks, and group sing-a-longs.  Check back to find some activities that are coming up in 2011  You are welcome to attend any and all of these events, whether or not you have children in your family.
